Prior to 2011 learning a new language was a niche endeavour; the market was tremendously fragmented and dominated by 1-1 tutors and several distance learning companies.

Duolingo made learning a language fun, rewarding, easy, competitive, and social. The methods Duolingo used to bring language learning to millions are the methods we will use in the endurance training plan market. Our app is:

Growth Projection

We expect that if we execute well we could reach $5m in annual recurring revenue within 36 months from the close of this fundraising round. At this point we would seek an exit in the $70-100M range.
