Why don't I have a brick workout in my plan?

Brick workouts are sessions where you go from the bike immediately onto a run. The purpose of this workout is to teach the body to simulate what your body will go through in a triathlon, as you go from the bike leg right into the run portion of the race.
A brick will help you avoid having "jelly legs" as you start the run; you'll be training your body to make a quick transition in how it routes your blood flow, so you won't feel wobbly as you begin running after a long time on the bike.
Brick workouts are an important part of any triathlon training plan, and athletes should try and incorporate a brick workout every week for a few weeks leading into a race.
Why isn't there a Brick in my triathlon training plan?
You'll only be assigned a Brick workout if you are training the maximum number of hours per week as permitted by the app. If you don't select enough hours, we have to prioritize other more important endurance workouts in your schedule.
That said, you can always manually add Brick workouts to your plan! Just click "SCHEDULE", then click a + on any day where you have a bike workout scheduled (you can only add a Brick workout on a day that has a bike). You may have to move some other workouts around to accommodate this. Then click "Update My Plan", and you'll have a brick workout in your weekly schedule.
